I soon will be looking to improve the sound of my 2019 SGS (114). I have a set of Jackpots bolted up to the stock header and she sounds ok. But I am thinking to change out the cam and header to get back to the harley sound, pre M8 that is. I understand there is only so much we can do given the M8 but I have read several threads where a new cam/header/pipes improved the sound side. My 114 runs really good so I am not looking to get screaming dyno results but just looking to get the lope/sound back. Any suggestions on a good combo that would get what I am looking for? My budget is $1K-$2K.
And, I am certainly aware of the warranty issue. Thanks in advance......
JHC210, If you are looking for sound do not waste your money on a "header" just take the "Cat" out. easy to do. See how you like that. Then if that's not enough, cam it. There are lots of choices see: $tonecold or Fuelmoto tests and charts, I have the 22X and CVO muffler, not Cat and I like the sound of mine. All can be done well below $2K. Good luck, CSM-H

I rode with a guy yesterday with a 12 Fatboy with stage 3 setup. I have to admit, it sounded great. I love my 18 Fatboy S, but his definitely sounded better. I am sure a cam is on my future.
Get youry self a cam install kit and a Power Vision from Fuel Moto. I'd recommend the Zippers RS468, Woods 22x or the S&S 475C. All that can be done for less than $1K. Then decat your headpipe and your Street Outlaws are already a great muffler for those setups. You'll also need a high flow A/C. Any of the offerings from Fuel Moto, DK Customs or HD will work. I just finished up a cam install (RS468) on my '19 RGU and the results were great.
