I'm running a S&S Sidewinder 2-1 on my 114. Doing a cam install shortly and concerned about increasing the volume of my exhaust as I already have hearing problems. I run the db reducer in the Sidewinder and was wondering if after the cam install if the Fuel Moto inserts might work to reduce sound and not lose power. Or do I swap exhaust as well at the cam change. Thanks

I have their inserts in my SG. They do quiet it down a bit and actually give you a bit of bottom end. I have their header on mine with no cat so I needed the inserts.
I have a 2019 road glide ultra with a sidewinder exhaust also and I just put a wood night prowler 22X cam and with the S&s reducer in the sidewinder I dont think it is that loud but if you take the reducer out it gets super loud but you lose power so I am not going to get the Fuel Moto insert
That is the same cam I'm considering, are you happy with it. I spoke with Tony at Fuel Moto and he said the bike should only be about 5% louder with that cam installed with the Sidewinder.
Thanks!

I just did the cam change and all that. I had rinehart dbx and lost so much low end. Called fuel Moto about the inserts and was told they wont have them till end of April.
I just decided to buy fuel Moto outlaws that have the inserts in
them and made all the difference in the world.
I did the wood 22x and love it. The outlaws sound fantastic with the cam and my neighbors dont hate me now.

Do you have the cat or catless? How do you like the performance?
