Evo filter on m8?
I was at the dealership couple months ago, bought oil change supplies, they were out of m8 filters. Parts guy said evo filter works.
I've delayed the oil change until I get a second opinion here. Are they interchangeable?

Yes a TC filter will work but Harley introduced a 1/2" longer filter which they now recommend for the M8.
That won't stop me from using my existing supply of the "old" oil filters on my M8 however.

As mentioned above, the M8 used the twin cam filter until the Service Bulletin 1510 was issued on 3/19/20...
From that Service Bulletin:
"The new oil filter starts on the following dates:
- Running change at York facility: Approximately March 3, 2020"
The M8 engines were using the smaller Twin Cam filter 2+ years before the change....
I'm pretty sure using a twin cam oil filter won't cause any issues...
