Default Motorcycle Dolly

Hello,
I have been researching dollies and was curious as to what some of my more seasoned rider friends use. I have a sport Glide with a 91.5" length so certain ones just wont be long enough. I am dealing with a very limited one car garage (it's full of tools and gear) and I would like to be able to also get my car in the garage too. I guess the truck will have to endure the elements...

What is the consensus for the dolly that is easiest to move? After a broken leg and bad ankle I dont have the "oommph" I once did. I am only 5'3" so dont have great leverage either.
I am looking to spend between $150-$300.
It needs to be at least 93" long.
My bike has a curb weight of 679lbs (i believe).

Please reply as to what you all you choose to use and what are the pros and cons of the dollies that you use.

Also somewhat related: What's the best seat to move me forward a touch (1-2")? The reach seat made by HD doesn't work quite right. And I need a 2-up or one with an available pillion. The stock seat just doesn't give my the clearance to comfortably reach the controls. (it's kinda girthy, which is usually what girls want, but not on a bike!)

Thanks for the advice!
Julie

I had the one from Harbor Freight and didn't have an issue with, held my Ultra with no problems and the wheels turned easy enough.

As mentioned, the Condor is the one to get. The other cheaper ones aren't as stable, and you have to put your kickstand down in the exact spot. With the Condor, your front tire locks in place and keeps your bike upright without using the kickstand. This makes it more stable to roll around. Also the Condor has big casters, the bigger ones roll easier.

You won't need one that's the length of the bike, the wheelbase is only 64" inches so I'd say one that is at least 75 inches or longer would be better. You could get the $125 Harbor Freight one but it might be hard to roll with it's small casters, especially if your floor is not smooth.

My Mustang dagger seat felt like it moved me forward just slightly, you might check into it.

Good luck

The one from Harbor freight is Junk for a large bike. Hard to roll . with my old Fatboy it is barely ok. Touring bike no.

Have you given any thought to buying a motorcycle jack like a K&L or J&S jack....???

They have a smaller footprint than a dolly, and can be used for detailing and maintenance too.. You will need to get a quality one if you want to use it, and move it around for storage...

I don't use my J&S jack for parking a bike, but when using it to work on my bikes, I have no issue moving the bikes around on the jack...

I use a Condor. When we downsized a couple of years ago I had the door off the garage located to allow for my Limited and dolly. It works great!

one word of advice…shorten the dolly to just cover the length of the bike. It helps with getting the bike out of the chock. As it’s “falling off the back” it helps pull the front wheel out of the chock

at your height, you’ll need the foot rests to help in removing the bike
