Motorcycle Dolly
I have been researching dollies and was curious as to what some of my more seasoned rider friends use. I have a sport Glide with a 91.5" length so certain ones just wont be long enough. I am dealing with a very limited one car garage (it's full of tools and gear) and I would like to be able to also get my car in the garage too. I guess the truck will have to endure the elements...
What is the consensus for the dolly that is easiest to move? After a broken leg and bad ankle I dont have the "oommph" I once did. I am only 5'3" so dont have great leverage either.
I am looking to spend between $150-$300.
It needs to be at least 93" long.
My bike has a curb weight of 679lbs (i believe).
Please reply as to what you all you choose to use and what are the pros and cons of the dollies that you use.
Also somewhat related: What's the best seat to move me forward a touch (1-2")? The reach seat made by HD doesn't work quite right. And I need a 2-up or one with an available pillion. The stock seat just doesn't give my the clearance to comfortably reach the controls. (it's kinda girthy, which is usually what girls want, but not on a bike!)
Thanks for the advice!
Julie

I realize your price point but this is really good
You won't need one that's the length of the bike, the wheelbase is only 64" inches so I'd say one that is at least 75 inches or longer would be better. You could get the $125 Harbor Freight one but it might be hard to roll with it's small casters, especially if your floor is not smooth.
My Mustang dagger seat felt like it moved me forward just slightly, you might check into it.
Good luck

They have a smaller footprint than a dolly, and can be used for detailing and maintenance too.. You will need to get a quality one if you want to use it, and move it around for storage...
I don't use my J&S jack for parking a bike, but when using it to work on my bikes, I have no issue moving the bikes around on the jack...

one word of advice shorten the dolly to just cover the length of the bike. It helps with getting the bike out of the chock. As its falling off the back it helps pull the front wheel out of the chock
at your height, youll need the foot rests to help in removing the bike
