Oh boy, I can't wait for autonomous motorcycles! I'm too lazy to put a key in and turn on two switches. Soon I hope all I have to do is sit on it and it will shift and steer itself. That will give me more time to look at my electronic device and hopefully get more "likes"!
This has noting to do with autonomous motorcycles, it is just a way of getting rid of a switch that is not needed.

I tested that just now for you. Yes, it works. Press and hold the trip button until ACC fires up, release button. Wait for warning screen to appear on the radio, then press and hold the On/Off button until the service screen appears. Do your business, then press and hold the trip button until ACC powers down.
