That's strange. I wonder if the OE keyless ignition won't allow it. I thought the radio was on the ACC circuit.
it is. but when you flip the kill switch off, it kills everything. you can then get it back by activating the acc circuit, but unless someone else knows something different, i don't see how to stay in acc circuit when you first hit the kill switch.. (this is with the ignition switch delete function activated)
Same here. The Heritage convinced me to do "keyless Ignition" on the Road Glide Limited. Half hour charge by dealer, but they were done with it in about five minutes. MUCH more convenient. I LIKE technology!
The more I use it, the more I like it. And this thread helped me learn more about it.
Darn, now I want it too.. Got an appointment at my dealer next week.. (Found a flaw in one of the factory installed chrome bits), want them to replace it. Will see if they're willing to hook up the Digital Tech while I'm there..

Just spit balling here. Say you pull up to the pump with the engine running (kill switch in the run position). Does putting it in ACC mode via the long press on the trigger switch kill the engine/headlight ? How did you keep the tunes on before?

no. in that scenario, it acts just like a long press on the trigger switch normally would, ie. reset trip odometer, etc. keeping the tunes on before, i would pull up to the pump, hit the kill switch. engine stops running, but bike is in full 'on' position, headlight etc. just as it would be when you go to start your bike before you press the start switch.
i've had it long enough to where i'm just used to killing my tunes now.
Pull up to the pump, hit the kill switch then hold down the trip/trigger until ACC mode comes on. If you do this within a couple seconds, the radio doesn't fully shut down and comes back in a couple seconds with your music playing.
I've found that works for Sirius or AM/FM, but not so much for listening thru CarPlay (its gotta restart), and I'm not sure about bluetooth, haven't tried it...
be sure its not on Trip A or Trip B unless your ready to reset them
