So my bike is a 2020 Road Glide Limited with about 21,000 kms (13,000 miles) on it. Stock 114 other than a set of SE Street Cannon mufflers.
Previous 2 summers of riding it ran fine with no pinging at all. For some reason, this year since pulling it out of hibernation, it's definitely got a "ping".
Nothing has changed...same mufflers, visiting the same gas stations, etc. Notice it especially at around 2500 rpm (and lower).
Any ideas what could have changed over the winter? Would it benefit from new spark plugs?
Service manual says every 2 years or 30,000 miles. It's not close to 30,000 miles but going into it's 3rd season. Cheap enough to try.

sure why not, about due anyway time wise..but at 27,000 miles when I first changed my originals I noticed zero difference in how it ran / performed..might as well inspect the wires for something but sounds like you may have something else going on..did you put it in "hibernation" without fresh fuel and fuel stabilizer by chance?
As stated by "Red", I would run the old gas out and fill up with a "Top Tier" premium. Shell, Esso or Petro Canada premium. Canadian Tire gas I believe is Shell. If the only change was going away for the winter, the gas quality might be suspect.

Stored for winter like I always do...full tank of fresh premium fuel with fuel stabilizer.

I thought the same, but have already run 5 or 6 tanks of top tier premium fuel through it. And you're not far off Red...at about $2.50/litre (almost 4 litres in a US gallon) for premium!!
Maybe it isn't a ping issue at all. How do you know that's what it is?
Well I guess I don't know for a fact, and I'm far from an expert...other than it sure sounds like it. Exactly the same sounding issue I had with my previous 2012 UC with Stage 1 (air intake, slip-ons & de-cat head pipe). Power Vision with a couple of maps from Fuel Moto fixed that.
I'd consider a PV for this bike but it's only the Street Cannon slip-ons (no air intake or head pipe change) and they were on the bike previous years with none of this "pinging" sound?

As mentioned above, I had a similar issue with my previous bike. Tried some of that stuff...didn't help.
