Im sure there are better cam choices out there that close the intake valve much sooner, and thatll give you the low end similar to stock cam profiles. Just gonna be sacrificing up top
Actually there are cams out there that will allow the same peak HP and better low end but at the expense of peak TQ.. That's the one I want to pick. I don't care about peak Tq but like flat power bands. The F35 likely has too much overlap. HP wins the race when you are racing.. George knows that. Flat power bands make the bike easier to ride under varying conditions.

The 777XE
That F35A is still a far cry better than most here I've seen.

F35A would have been great if it wouldn't require better springs.
With the results I've seen so far, I can't understand why people want it.
And I am big fan of G.B.

so I would imagine fitting these springs requires the head's off? If so you may as well increase capacity as you are 99% there already?

There are tools and ways to swap M8 head springs without pulling the heads off.
I was debating about getting those 200$ beehive springs from FuelMoto if I got the Star 30/30 cam since its a .485 lift, and then looking for a shop who can do head springs without removing the heads.
I'm probably going with the 22XE, which is supposedly .470 lift so no need for that anymore.

thanks I have just had the 22XE along with supporting mods fitted and really appreciate the extra power, I can now short shift through the gears and it just pulls hard, I find myself looking for 7th gear now, It also pulls from 60mph in 6th well now

the star 30/30 is a drop in cam... no springs needed.

I feel like that already with my SE8-447 Cam. I want a 7th gear at a higher shift point.
If I had "**** you money" I'd be finding a shop and ordering in an Andrews 34 tooth drive pully, and a Baker DD7 transmission, with a brand new belt, and an EVO Industries complete clutch basket system.
Because I want that higher shift point out of 6th and 7th gear.
with my SE Torque cam, I'm shifting around 90mph to reach 130mph. I would like to push 7th gear shift point up to 100mph.
I would like to be able to use 5th 6th and 7th at the 70+range.
That would be more fun an enjoyable I think than a Stage 3 big bore kit/Stage 4.
Shame I don't have that kinda money.
LOL, so might as well go big bore while heads off to change springs, then the cam you're changing springs for might not be the best choice for big bore.
How much are Star springs for the F35A? How much is extra labor to leave heads on and change springs or how much are tools to change springs without removing heads?
