Im looking for a tuner and i have a couple that im looking at. One will use my power vision PV-3B already married to it. He said it will take 3 days to a week to tune it. The other 100 miles closer wants to do a tune with direct link. He says direct link is a cleaner tune. I thought the power vision does everything needed to do the best tune on a bike. Can anyone tell me how the Direct Link tune is going to give me a better tune? thanks
By direct link is he talking about using the Centurion. A very good tuning software in the right hands. Direct link is often used to describe nothing more than a wireless link to ECM No advantage to the tune just no cable to hook up.
Where did you purchase the PV ? if you purchased it from Fuel Motor they will provide a good map and then run some auto tune runs on it.
3 days to a week to tune it NO..
Little more education on the subject is needed on you part before taking the step.
Undisputed pros like Fuel Moto have been tuning with Power Vision for years, with great results. Sounds to me like that guy has a thing, and its the only thing he knows, so that's why its good. But what do I know?
Oh there are so many other thread about tuner brands and benefits of a dyno tune vs auto tune.
Depends on what you want, what can you live with, how much are you williing to spend.
