Think I will leave it just the way it is right now. Red on the comp and blue on the clutch nut. The outer primary is torqued to 150 inch lbs with blue loctite. Hopefully I will have no reason to remove it for a long time. Thanks for the input .

150 inch lbs is 12.5 ft lbs. That is nuts on a 1/4" bolt, especially the 4 long front ones. In the past, the primary cover, cam cover and transmission side cover, 1/4" bolts were always 90 to 110 in lbs. I have always gone 90 in lbs and never had an issue. Small dot of blue on the tip of the bolt. If you torque those 4, long front socket heads that go into the engine case to 150 in lbs, you will become very familiar with heli coils or the like.

I generally use a small amount of red on the clutch hub nut but have also used blue with no problem at all.

There is no need for loctite on primary cover bolts.
