So Im flying from canada to PA to pick up my first HD . Just wondering what my options for insurance are? As I cant really get any on my end until I inport the bike. I have friends do this and the dealer was able to get them a "permit for $25" to get them home on. But I asked the dealer this morning about it and he said we could call progressvie once im there anyone with more information?

Hmm... and you can not put your insurance on until the vehicle has been registered in Canada? What part of Canada are you from, What part of Pa are you flying into ?
I was able to get liability and comprehensive today from up here. The dealer said they can get me a temp tag now but when I asked a couple days ago they didn't know anything about that. (as I was calling it a permit) Pa calls it a "in transit " tag so I think I have it figured out
until the vehicle has been registered in Canada
correct well I cant get full insurance with a plate. I was able to get a "binder" policy today
