Here is a link to an audio I made with my bike idling. I made it with my cell phone. I am new at this so be patient. The bike sounds better than in the audio. You have to hear it in person. As time permits and I learn more about how to record audio, I will get a recording when riding the bike.
Don't listen to the audio on a cell phone. Listen to it using good speakers on your computer.
Here is another audio. Wind noise starts at about 8 minutes so I had to cut the audio short. I strapped my cell phone to the passenger pillion. I am new at this and trying to figure out how to record using my cell phone without get the wind noise. The wind noise starts when I get out of the neighborhood and get up to speed. The pipes on this bike are awesome and very satisfying, that is one of the reasons that I have listed this bike at the price I listed it. This bike runs and sounds awesome. (There is room for negotiations on the price).
As before, listen to this using good speakers (like on your computer) Your cell phone speakers do not have enough dynamic range to play the sound accurately.
I am fairly certain that if someone comes and looks at this bike, they will want to buy it. They will realize what I have been trying to tell you, it is a hidden gem. (Well maybe not so hidden)
I had that exact same bike. Ran like a scalded dog. Way way quick for a big bike. Then at 7000 miles the lifter problems kicked in,and wiped the cam too. Dealerships fault,I brought it in when it very first started making noise, under warranty, they said it's normal noise. I argued, they stood by their statement. I brought it back two weeks later, all messed up. Told them it's yours now, I want a new street glide, and they hemmed and hawed, I won, paid 2k for a new street glide and a messed up fat boy s.

My bike does not have any problems. As I said in a previous post, the Dealership offered $13000 trade-in for that bike two months ago. Also, the Dealership has told me that if the buyers credit is acceptable to them, they will finance the bike.
I have not specifically asked, but I am pretty sure that the Dealership would be willing to sell an extended warranty for this bike. In case some prospective buyer is concerned about what you have stated in this thread, I would be willing to negotiate the price somewhat to help them purchase an extended warranty.
(When someone blows up an engine, like you have stated, it is an indication that you were not keeping the proper oil level in the bike)
