As reported the Weather Map zoom works now, however it only has the full zoom and 3 levels of zoom-in which still shows a large portion of the state. I was hoping to zoom in to see where the rain begins/ends at the road level. The secondary roads don't even show up at the closest zoom level. Only the interstates.
I can't recall if there were more than 4 levels of zoom on the previous working version.
I just got my 15 Road Glide Special this last weekend, and am loving it! I downloaded and installed this latest update (1.18.3). I do have a question... is there a way to connect my scala rider headset to the Boom Radio to be able to accept calls? If not, is there a plan for this in a future release? The call answer feature is great but I guess it only work if you have the wired headset from what I can gather.
Sorry if this has been addressed before... I've been searching but have only found older posts saying it can't be done, but am wondering about more recent releases.
Date Released: 01/19/2015

Anyone know what "Performance and Stability Enhancements" might be....I uploaded the new update and it seems to have fixed several items...haven't had a chance to see if it helped the AVC issue and my constant issue with FM reception...

Excuse my ignorance but this Weather Map that you refer to, is that something related to an XM subscription or is it something buried in the Infotainment system and something I might have on my Limited? Thanks...

Thanks!
No, not currently. There is a thread https://www.hdforums.com/forum/touri...t-headset.html that has a solution but is limited and deals with Sena. The hope is that HD will add this feature. I was talking with a guy that said he found a patent online submitted by HD for ther own bluetooth headset and he surmised that HD will release this and keep competitors out of the market. He was supposed to email me a link but never did.

Thanks FinalShot! That's interesting... I'll try those same procedures with the Scala system when I get some time and see if that works. While not ideal, it may work for now.

Yes, you are correct. We had the capability to zoom in a lot more on the weather map than we do now. I am glad they fixed the zoom problems when switching back to the Nav. Map screen but we do need to be able to zoom in more to really have the full benefit of having weather capabilities. Maybe 1 day (Year) they will get it right for us.
upgraded to 1.18.3 with out a hitch. zoom worked correctly. i created a 272 miles 100 wave point route. loaded the route then selected the route. the usb icon on the right started flashing, after flashing for 6 minutes the clock was frozen the buttons and menu button did not function but the radio was playing. Shut off the bike for 20 sec. before turning it back on. Now i can't delete the route. I broke it! i'll mess with it tomorrow and see what happens.
My biggest complaint on the system has been the radio coming on at restart. IT DID NOT FIX THAT! I don't want the radio on upon restart, especially if I turned it off before shutdown. Another thing I noticed, I almost always listen to music via flash drive. Now when it starts it shows 1 of 1275, no matter what song it is. Before, it showed what number it was from the alphabetical list on the drive. The second song shows proper what number it is. I guess if that is the only NEW glitch, I will live with it. If you are still unhappy with it call HD customer service, I will be again!
