New River Gorge
My company is sponsoring a white water rafting trip in West Virginia in a few weeks. It's a perfect opportunity to get a 2 wheeled camping trip in. It's in Oak Hill (Ace Rafting) which is close enough to the New River Bridge that i'm going to check it out. Is there anywhere else in this area that is must see while i'm down there?

I'm in upstate PA, and ride down a couple times a year just to ride. Beautiful scenery, things to do, and not a straight road in the whole state. Went to Bridge Day 2 years ago, and going again this year. I can't help you out much with things to see right in the area of the bridge, but I'm sure there must be some cool state parks or something down there. I've been to Seneca Rocks, Blackwater Falls State Park, rode the Cass Scenic Railroad, toured through Trans Allegheny Lunatic Asylum, rode up to Spruce **** (highest point in WV), but they're all north of there. Post your question up in the road Trips forum. There are a few WV guys on here who told me about some things I should take time to see. I'll follow it to see what's down south near the bridge.
