Default Complete oil change question ?

I'm going to be doing the "complete oil change" soon as soon as i figure which synthetic i'm going to use and was wndering if the 3/8 " clear tubing is inside or outside diameter ? while on the oil subject i was considering either Mobil 1 V-Twin or Amsoil 20 W 50 for the crank and primary and Mobil 1 75 W 90 or Amsoil Severe Gear 75 w 90 for the tranny and already have the Harley oil filter and o'rings and still need to make the run to Sears for the a/c / fuel line disconnect tool set.Does the 3/8 " tubing just get pushed onto the oil line on the oil tank or should it be held by someone or clamped on while purging the oil during the process ? Thanks in advance !

3/8" inside diameter and it just slides onto the return line with no clamps. There's very little pressure on it when attached to the return line. I like the Mobil 1 75/90 or 75/140 in the trans and an engine oil (10/30 or 10/40 with no friction modifiers) in it for the primary.

When at the hardware store to pick up 4' of 3/8" tubing, I went ahead and bought a small hose clamp. Glad I did. Not sure why I could not get the hose over the bubble portion of the return line, maybe by then my hands were slippery with oil, but I said f*ck it and use the hose clamp. Good 50 cent investment.
