What do you think is the best serviceable and reliable way to run filter to tank & pump lines? Hardlines? Compression fittings? Quality rubber hose?
So getting my softail all back together.. flushed the tank good.
My original 1993 FXSTS had the factory oil filter bracket and hard chrome lines from the filter to the tank. I bought an identical Drag specialties one in chrome and the dang thing has different threads… it comes with 1/4 nipples
So what opinions are out there for the most leak free installation? Would you just do quality 3/8 rubber hose and a bunch of clamps?
Can’t really find the right adaptors from the stock hard lines to work in the chrome one..

I'm using J2076 on a current Shovel project, which is very similar to J30R9, except the pressure rating is a little higher (175 versus 100 psi). Max temp is the same. In the past I always used the screw clamps, but this time I plan to use crimp clamps for a cleaner look.
The best way is braided AN lines. It's actually not that expensive, just a lot of work to make the lines and a little more expensive than hose clamps and rubber hose.
