Default Harley oil cooler gasket

Looking at the instructions for harley oil cooler, the gasket between the adapter and engine is not sold separate. Anyone reuse or find another source? FU harley. If I were to buy another, I'd consider jaggs just so I could access volt reg easier. I'd consider going without too. This bike isn't going to hot parts of the country, as a rule anymore.

Is this what you're talking about? It was OE on some of the CVO's. Good luck finding one.

Similar, don't have in front of me. The instructions which are old said not sold separate, but that was also from 2007. Didn't list a part number.

If you have the old one, can't you use it as a template and make your own?

Correct, it's not sold separately. It's included in the gasket service kit.

Good point.

Mine is old. the instructions don't mention a kit, or I missed it. Never thought to look at newer years to see if anything changed. Thanks.

Why not buy the gasket service kit that Barneyboy provided below, Part Number 12056-05 for $7.00. Harley lists it for $8.44.

Why does it say dyna? I would think a TC would be a TC. Though I am not 100% sure with softails and oil tanks

Found old thread here from 2010 using the part #, ordered it.

I'll take a WAG, CoolBreeze can correct me if my WAG is off base. Let's say the oil cooler kit was first introduced for the Dyna's shortly before it was introduced for Touring models. Since both versions used the same adapter assembly, the same gasket service kit would apply to both. Typically, the "05" suffix at the end of the part number indicates the year of introduction. Since the part number was already created for the Dyna's, there was no need to create a separate part number for Touring for essentially the same part(s). HD's description of the gasket service kit also includes "DYNA", that's likely where eharleyparts got it from.
