Default Oil Change

I'm leaving on a trip July 24th for 2 weeks....I have 1270 miles on the bike now probably be around
1600 to 1700 when I leave ...the trip is around 300 miles total give or take when should I do the next oil change before
or during the trip I will have time on the way home to get it done at about 3400 miles??

I'm going to assume your trip is 3000 miles , and not 300 as in your post.
If it was my bike, I'd do it before I left on my trip, and then change it also
when I got back from the trip.
Either way, be safe on your trip.

I would take enough oil and filters with me&nbsp\\;to change it every 750 to 1000 miles....wouldn't want the motor to explode

Did you do the 1000 mile service? If so you should be good until 5000 miles.

Change it just before you go, and forget about it.&nbsp\\; Changing too often is never a problem.&nbsp\\; It's cheap insurance, and you'll have the warm feeling of knowing nothing can go wrong.&nbsp\\; Trust me on this one, I've done it both ways in years past. &nbsp\\; The little you save by not doing it now is nothing compared to the stress level of wondering about it the entire trip.&nbsp\\; Just do it!&nbsp\\; CCRyder
