I just started using Amsoil products in all three holes after years of using Red-Line. To be honest, I really can't tell any difference. Is that good, yes, cause Red-Line is just to damn hard to find around here. Ya gotta go to three different parts stores just to find the Shock-proof heavy. I'm using the Amsoil 75-90 Gear Oil and the tranny shifts great and it's as quiet as when I used RL.
I heard that...I just found an Autozone 2 miles from home that carries all the Mobil1 oils & lubes so when I use up my stock of everything else I'm going the easy way out.
