Been in Silverdale for a few years now, bought my '08 street bob Iraq, got back, picked it up in October, been in the garage since
This past weekend went up to Whidbey (sp?) Island with a buddy of mine and tacked on another 250 miles. Looking to do alot of riding but not too sure of anything local to the area. Something after work or maybe a long haul on the weekends.
Anyway, on the denim blue bob puttin around, haven't seen too many in the area at any rate. Just sayin hey.
Hi Ike, welcome home! I'm on Camano Island but lived on Bainbridge Island for over a decade before that. We've got some great riding all around the peninsula--out to the coast-- up into the mountains-- heck, the sky's the limit. (Might have to dodge a few raindrops, of course! But it keeps the landscape looking green.)
Gunner Ike, welcome home. There is more good riding up here in the Pacific Northwest than you can shake a stick at. Once the snow melts in the mts., Eastern Washington is exceptional! Highway 20 (North Cascades) is one heck of a few days ride. There is much to see, a lot of rides with HOG groups, charity runs etc. This is the LAST year of the Lawman 1000, so we expect the turnout to be huge.
The oyster run is VERY popular also......
me and a few of my buddies are trying to get a small club together.
if you happen to be on myspace check us out! try to look for street creeps.
if you can't find it, drop me an email sometime! we are planning a few runs including Ocean Shores and the Spring Opener. there are some great riding around here and hope to see you on the road.
Hi Ike--welcome home! I am not far south of you--up your way for awhile today actually. I'm fairly new to riding and am searching out nice WA rides as well. West is also good--down toOR and along thecoast is supposed to be fine fine--Crater Lake and CA Redwoods too. Happy riding, and cross your fingers for more good weather soon!
Federal Way here! When the dam snow melts, Chinook Pass (Mt Rainier) over to Yakima and the Yakima Canyon Road is a great ride. North Cacades highway...most excellent! I may do a ride from Seattle to Wenatchee next week...depending on the snow though. Welcome back ...... give me a shout if you are over in the Tacoma area.
Welcome back!!
Check out your local stealer. They have a book that covers rides by state. Ain't cheap but covers the area real well. Mine stays in the tour pack.
Washington has some of the best riding. And if you don't ride in the rain, you don't ride.
