The last time I attended the Laughlin River Run was back in 2005. In viewing the website for the rally, I've been sticker shocked at the prices for the hotel stays.
I've attended Street Vibrations religiously and have alway received a great deal on the hotels, leaving me enough $ to purchase the VIP package.
The River Run might just be too expensive for me.
Anyone have ideas (other than camping) of where to stay that's affordable?
I wouldn't commit to any packages. In fact last year most hotels were left with over 200 vacancies per hotel. I would imagine with the econimical downfall being even disastrous this year there will be more rooms available. Just my .02. I will be going with a group of 12 to 15 people. Should be great as always. Daily rides to Oatman and back thru 66 to Kingman. Great times!
I go to have a good time, pay alittle extra to stay right down town,if I wanna party I dont want to have to ride to get somewhere. We stay at the Tropicana Express, take a buddy and split the cost, about 84 bucks a night a piece, worth it to me,but I do understand the price's are ridiculos compared to the rest of the year, here's a promo link if anyone might be interested... http://www.tropicanax.com/content/pa...ting&rec_id=56
I always have a place for a few in Bullhead just a little ride or ferry over to the hotels. i can probably house four to six bikes plus riders. House right on the river just 2 doors down from a local bar on the river.

Thanks for the link. Was on the fence going thru DalCon. Ended up calling Tropicana direct for a promo package and they are actually giving us a better deal. 340 plus tax for room only. Deal (relatively speaking).
Thanks again!
