I have paired the Sena headset and the iPhone both to the bike.
I had no trouble pairing the iPhone to the TA, but it asks what kind of instrument is the TA-phone, vehicle stereo, headphone, or hearing aid? When I call from my phone, the receiving party cannot hear me and I can hear them in a very garbled fashion and then only in the left ear speaker; same with the navigation- only through the left ear. I don't seem to be able to initiate the call from the bike
On my goldwing I did the same pairings with no issues. Do I need something different with the TA? Pair the iPhone to the head set or??
When I paired my iPhone (11 Pro Max), I didn't choose a device type. Paired fine and works fine.
If I understand the device type choice correctly, the iPhone uses the selection to determine safe hearing levels. I didn't choose a device type because I was afraid the iPhone would attempt to limit the max volume level in some way. I could be all wet in my understanding.

Did it let you pair it without specifying type? I didn't think that was an option
