Default Retrofitting 2023 windshield hardware to 2021 bike

Just wondering if anyone tried it? It seems a lot more sturdy, but not sure if it's easily doable...

There was a post on one of the FB groups with the part numbers. I'll try to find it.

There's a new YouTube video that may be another option.

From the FB Group with the Part #s, The post isn't shareable .

2023 Windshield Improvements:
I added the new windshield stops that were changed on the 2023 models. You’ll need two of these, Part number 57300390A. I can’t find my receipt, but they were around $10 for the pair. One replaces the windshield stop on the clutch side of the bike that limits the windshield travel in the fully raised position, and a second is added on the brake side. There is a small spring added to prevent movement of the windshield bracket when the shield is at full height. I have not ridden with it yet, but the windshield seems noticably sturdier.

Can you order OEM parts from anywhere now? Utah and Surdyke have given up on selling outside of their markets. My nearest dealer is an hour away... I'd like to order the '23 windscreen parts but I don't want to drive 2hrs round trip to get them. I thought I'd be able to just go to the HD OEM parts page and order them but noooo.... they aren't available online. If they want people to buy in their own markets or direct only, make the damn process easy.

We have a nice option here at Wunderlich to eliminate the windshield rattling with our German-made screen reinforcements. We have a video of how to install it and step-by-step paper instructions. Not a cheap solution but something to keep in mind, it has been very well received by our customers. I will put a link below.

Does add both sides increase stability more than just one side? Or is the second side really for the mounting bar?

Wunderlich is way over-priced in my opinion. Both sides will set you back about $300. Even Touratech has a nice and less expensive option..
