I have a line on a '52 Pan FL for $5k even. Foot clutch, side shifter,
It's clearly not stock, but I'm not sure exactly how much - I've only seen it under a sheet in the garage, and with the sheet off but still up against the wall with a bunch of **** around it.
Here's what I already know isn't stock:
Bars
Seat
Pipes
Paint
At least the front fender has the skinny chopper style
Rear fender doesn't cover the tire/has no saddlebag mounting lugs
On the plus side:
The widow I'm buying from and her husband bought it in 1972 from the original owner
She says the odo is all original miles (but I can't see the mileage in the one photo I have)
She knows the guy who did the paint
She has the title in hand
I have the original shop manual with a couple of receipts and some notes in the margins
The PO died in 2005 - there's a good chance nothing was done to the bike after he parked it for the last time.
Definitely do it as long as the title matches the VIN# and the VIN# is not altered. Looks like a nice period piece chop. Had a 52 Pan chop frome 1972 until 1998. Great bike. Only sold it to help pay for my daughter's college tuition.

for sure! I'd love to get an old bike..I need to get the 4 I have dialed in though..well...2 out of the 4 need to be dialed in, then I can get a new project. I would love an old pan or shovel.
Bought it, and put it in my garage last night. Title and VIN match - once I get the bottom clean, I'll know if the belly numbers match too. Imgur album.
