This is the guy I used to remove the two dents from my original paint right tank on the FLH, I would recommend. He does some amazing work and saves the paint.
The nose (#88500-36) and rear end (#88502-36) pieces uses #3560W (a later version but almost the same is #3560WA). That T-bolt is 10-24 with a 3/8" wide head
The sidecar fender trim piece (#87925-39) uses #3561. That T-bolt is 10-24 with a 1/4" wide head.
Only way I kinda figured it out is that I had some extra T-bolts from putting the trim on my front fender and thought I would see if the fit. The nuts are #7635W and are 10-24 x 13/32 x 3/8. I may have enough to do both the fender and front and rear trim.
The sidecar trim (#88504-36) lists the screw as #88506-36. It too is a T-bolt that is 6-32 with a 7/32" wide head.
When I took out the sidecar trim strips I noticed there were still a couple of T-bolts in two of the long strips. I removed one and measured it. And being that I cannot find those, I am going to use 6-32 x 3/8" long truss head screws. I will grind the top domed end down and flatten the screw heads down on two sides in order to make it a T-bolt.. I am going to use normal 6-32 screws and split washers to secure the trim. I think it will work.
I only have three strips for the side of the car. The parts books list four. I assume two for each side. Trying to find a fourth could be difficult to impossible. Also from looking at hellownewman's thread on his 48 build he has long and short strips. Mine are all the same length (not sure the difference). So worst case is that I only install strips on the outside to match the fender trim.

The Best of Harley-Davidson for Lifelong Riders
Got one of my saddlebags almost all together. Bad news is that my platter did not send back the spring clips (used to secure the bottom of the bags to the railing). They closed on Tuesday for the holidays and won't be open until Monday morning. I've developed a habit of itemizing the parts I have sent out for plating (cad, parkerizing and chrome) and included a description plus pics showing what was sent. Emailed the platters my initial letter and pics. Hopefully it will get resloved, like maybe it is sitting on a shelf and hopefully did not get sent out with someone else's order.
Pics coming soon. Just about finished with one bag. Could really use a third hand assembling the parts. Ended up using blue painters tape to hold pieces in place so the I could get the hand held riviter into place and secure the tubular rivet.
