Default 1961 panhead duoglide
Well thought of redoing my fathers 05’ electra glide but 15 NY winters has taken it toll. It went down the road. We have a 61 panhead duoglide together. It has sat and it has always been on the ratty patinaside lol. DO NOT shoot me lol can modern hydraulic brakes, wheels (wagon 00-07’), and front end be put in this bike?

Yes you can upgrade the fronts to disc brakes but I would leave the rear alone. You'll need to replace the front forks so you have a way to mount one or two callipers.

Don’t be a ***** - 10s of 1000s of us ride real every day - its not a sport bike you need to look a whats going on

having discs lets you text while riding is my guess

No, they're needed for the sound system, subs and an amp can get heavy.

Drums just suck lol. Although i agree just ride it. Just want to have modern stopping, mag wheels (spokes suck), and a unique bike. I’m not the stock oem purest type.

My 1970 has drums front and rear, properly setup she stops just fine, even when riding two up. If your brakes are lame, they need some love. A rear juice is more effective than you think, yes the front mechanical is just OK.

I suggest grabbing the manual, a cold beer and give them drums some love, good luck.

Power, handling, superior braking, no leaks and 6 gears? Who wouldn't want a Twinkie or 3? Have I mentioned before that I love my Twinkie?
