hi does anybody out there know someone that knows anyone that has a53 panhead frame for sale? i sold a51 because it wasnt the right year for my bike and i'm having a real hard time finding one .i know i can buy an after market frame but i've had it for over 20 years and would like to keep it oem .thank you in advance. hard *** rules !!
Thats going to be a tough one. You will probably end up spending more than twice what a repro will cost and then worry about metal fatique. I have a buddy who has a chopper on a wishbone frame (not cut) I'll check with him to see if he would be willing to part with it and what year it is.
You can try e-bay. I've seen some frames on there but you're going to pay. Try www.jockeyjournal.com. Seen some on there. Tough to come across one that is uncut and modified. If you do come across one that's been cut there are some good frame restoration shops out there. Good luck.
