I went and looked at an '08 CVO Dyna Anniversary Edition that was listed on Craig's list this past Weekend. The bike was in decent shape with low miles, but the paint on the Jugs, Cases and Trans was horrible. It almost looks like somebody used pain remover on it and never finished the job. When I asked the Owner ( Original ) he said he started noticing it when it was still under Warranty and when he asked about, the Dealer said there was nothing they could do.
Has anyone ever experienced this or know anyone else who has?

yes i have 40k miles on my 2008 CVO springer 105th anniversary and the front jug and primary paint is peeling. i want to find that grey paint to restore it.
this is 100% normal unfortunately..the road sand and elements hit the front of primary and lead jug and cause the paint to come off.
