Default Stretched bags

Just finished a set of bags that I stretched. Bought the extensions. Installed them with the required epoxy and then finished them off with body filler as required. Prime, sand etc. Painted them and they look great however after putting it all back together when it sets in the sun and gets warm you can see a line. Dont understand, I believe I have done everything to specs. Why does this happen when then heat up and what must you do to keep it from happening?

The primer was high build, funny thing is it isnt at the edge of the primer but the line appears directly over where the extension and the bag were bonded. It just gives the appearence of a line of sorts but only in the sun/heat. Take it back inside, it cools down just like magic its gone. Keep the bike inside in the AC and life will be good. Whats up with that?

Sounds like the epoxy or the body filler is expanding/shrinking with the heat/cool. I've had this happen with hood scoops and body kits before. Only sure fix I am aware of is fiberglass matting where you bond them together.

Bummer.
