Default Baker Primary chain tensioner

I'm thinking about losing my automatic adjuster on my Street Glide. Anybody care to opine on the Baker tensioner? Good, bad or indifferent?

Have had mine in for about 9 months and just checked on it about 2 weeks ago while installing mids - all good.

The only downside I know of is the inability to install the CompenSaver oil tray if you decide to run the newer SE compensator. I am waiting on news/results on the new Baker comp hoping everything is great but it is starting to feel like it did when I was waiting on the Darkhorse comp to come to market.....

Or you could do away with the chain altogether and change over to a gear drive kit.

That would be great if they made it. The op is talking about the primary

Baker adjuster is great! Sure beats the auto adjuster. Baker comp is nice too! Those guys are a bunch of smart dudes!
