06 Primary Leak
06 Primary Leak
So My 06 Road King has a minor leak from the seal on the primary. The dealership told me it would be 600 bucks w/ parts and labor to fix it. I am not a big gearhead so I do not know a lot about wrenching on a bike but this seems excessive to me. Am I wrong?

I am betting your leak is the inner primary bearing or worse the transmission area? Takes a few hours to pull all that apart, fix the problem, then reinstall plus parts - not too surprised at the estimate...can do it for a lot less yourself but need the right tools and a Service Manual.
They mentioned inner primary on the write up they gave me... As I am not mechanically inclined to that level, I do some of my own wrenching oil change easy stuff like that, I will let the pro's handle it thanks for the info
