Default 2015 Ultra Low clutch problem

I'm having an issue with the hydraulic clutch on my 2015 Electra Glide Ultra Classic Low. Was out for a ride this morning and as I was riding, I noted the clutch lever was getting soft, but still operating the clutch. After a few miles, the clutch lever appeared to be back to normal. I took off from a stop light with no issues, went through the gears into 3rd gear, riding in traffic @ 40mph. The light changed to red, pulled back on the clutch lever, and immediately went to the handgrip. The clutch did not disengage. I was able to maneuver out of traffic to the side of the road where I cut it off and came to a stop. I checked the fluid in the clutch reservoir, which is at the appropriate level.

I was able to get it into neutral and get her pushed into a business parking lot while I'm waiting for a buddy to bring his trailer and load it up in the morning and get it back to the house for troubleshooting,

Any ideas as to what has happened to cause this type of failure?

When was the last time you had the fluid flushed? Bleed and fill the system with fresh fluif from a sealed dot 4 bottle. If that doesn't solve your problem then you'll need to diagnose the master cylinder and the secondary actuator.

It's been almost 3.5 years. I didn't realize that could be causing the issue. I'll change it out 1st thing in the morning and provide feedback. Many thanks brother!

Screamin Beagle: Went to pick up the bike last night. It had been sitting for about 4 hours. The clutch was operating perfectly. Obviously a heat-related issue as I drove it the 2 miles home with no problems. Just finished changing out the fluid and will wait til noon to give it a ride in the heat again to verify the fluid change was the issue.

It was def the fluid. 10 days of riding in 92+ temps after changing fluids with no issues.

Default Recall on this 2015 Ultra clutch

As a side note, there was a recall on the 2015 Ultra Limited clutch. I have the same bike, FLHTK Peace Officer edition. I bought it new in 2015. Ever since I owned it the clutch would drag even when pulled in, if I started it in gear it would lurch forward but only when cold. Chandler Harley (Arizona) rebuilt the master and said it fixed it but there was no change. (Steve) over there was the service manager and the guy was a douche. I took it back multiple times and he kept saying he couldnt re create the issue but its done it everytime ever since. I just rode it to Payson today and it still does it.
