04 Roadking when shifting from neutral to 1st rakes bad. Can some one help

Have you tried adjusting the clutch. What kind of fluid are you running? Define "rakes".

Fluid in primary harley formula + , in the transmission red line shock heavy. when going from neutral to 1st I get gear grinding and a clunk.
Afterwards it shifts through the gears ok.

I would say the clutch is dragging. try adjusting. How is the primary tension? Seriously, installing an M6 would help.

I've tried adjusting the clutch doesn't help, after the first gear grinding and clunking, it shifts ok other than a little clunking at times.
