I had ghost brackets on my 01 Yamaha Road Star. They were pretty easy to install and worked well.

Regards,
Rick

I got my easy brackets today. Very nice product. I am trying to mate them to rather large leather bags. I think if using leather bags with out the hard back that I would be better off using the ghostbracket because the greater outward angle of the goshtbrkt would help to keep the front lower corner of the bag from rubbing on the swing arm.

I bought the ghost brackets and also the bags from them. Had to relocate the tail light but that was fairly easy as well.

I just bought mine from Dennis Kirk, these are really nice and the bike looks great with the bags off too!
