Call me "late to the party", as I know many bagger owners already have discovered this great product.....
But last week, the man (Pez) behind Hogtunes paid a visit to our store.
Coincidently, I had just been looking at the Hogtunes website the night before.
Replacing my Classic's (weak) stock speakers was on my to-do list.
After a nice chat about the product with Pez, he promptly set me up with a pair of new Hogtunes.
Installation is e-z once you get the outer fairing off.
You'll notice the huge magnets on the Hogtunes right away.
The (weather-proof) speaker cones are much more robust as well.
The sound?
Much, much clearer! More bass! And best of all....they are louder at lower volume settings, without any distortion.
If sound quality on your bagger is important to you, this is a vital upgrade.

One of my friends just installed them on his SE EG II and they do sound much better over the premiums, as everyone has said they would. Good product and upgrade if you can.

Question, I know you all state they are louder but with the stock amp or have you added an amp? In my limited past experience with auto/bike sound systems I have often noticed better speaker take more power to drive. If not this mod becomes very inexpensive just the cost of the speakers. If it make any difference I would be replacing all 4 on my Ultra.

I just put these in my bike last weekend. I have no amp, I have the standard HD radio. They are awesome. They blow away the MoCo's premium speakers. They have a lower impedence than the HD, and they are made better. They are more effiecient, and give you a far better sound. Best $100 you can spend on you radio.

Same as you with my friend, no amp, and you could'nt have said it any better about the speakers.
LJ you won't look back, get the order going, they (Hog Tunes) are easy to deal with and fast delivery.

Got the Hogtunes today, and they are great. Louder, crisper, cleaner, and a 20 year warranty.
The install is straight forward and takes about 1 hour from the time you pick the box up off of the front porch.
