In a word, Langlitz. They make hands down the best leathers in the world. They're not cheap, but they last forever and their customer service is second to none.
You get what you pay for. If you buy a cheap jacket then you get a cheap jacket.
I bought a cheap jacket made by a company called Aardvark at a bike show six years ago. The lining started to unstitch the first time I wore it. I've had it repaired several times where it's come apart at the seams. I would have ditched it several years ago except that it's comfortable and I'm too tightarsed to get a better one.
Buy the best you can afford. I like the look of those Fox Creak Jackets.
I like the Shift Primer Leather jacket because it's thick, has a liner and most importantly, it has armour (removable). It's more of a sport bike type jacket but without any of the "bling" on it, so you wont look like you're on the wrong bike. It comes in black and gunmetal. Check it out, it's cool.
Shift is the ****. Saved my upper body from becoming a bag of splintered dog crap in a track day get off. 120 a good enuf test for ya?
Leave the Brando stuff for the posers. By something that will protect you.
The Fox creek stuff is really nice quality just no CE padding.
Got my Xpert leather jacket from eagle leather in Tacoma Wa. www.eagleleather.com and love it. Kind of pricy but the darned thing weight 19 pounds. Figure I bought it to protect my butt incase I ever go down. has more zippers and storage than the bags on a geezer glide LOL.
That was my choice out of all the on-line jackets I found. I didn't like Harley's selection. Looks were ok but the protection factor is at the bottom of the bar. "my opinion"
