This has been covered a few times on the forum- in different threads.
So far- no answers on how to DIY- looks like its locked to the dealers scan tool.
You'd think with all the hackers in the world- someone would have come up with a solution....

Pack I ride in was all crotch rockets who have one by one been switching over to Harley.. now it seems anything that goes wrong I’m responsible for since it was my influence that made them convert lol. Now there is a Nightster and two Sportster S in the group. Me, I’ll never own anything with EFI or ECU. Not much I can do to help them.

Truth is if the Busa guys ever figure out if we kept going they’d leave me, the mystic and bewilderment would no longer leave them in embarrassed doubt. Under a 100mph.. there mine. Thankfully that part of the pack shows up for the shorter tavern rout rides. If we used longer roads it would all be a sham.
