Default Eureka Springs area cabin

I know there is a ton of threads on riding/vacationing in Eureka Springs, that's why the Wife and I want to go.

However I could not find any specific threads to direct me to what I'm looking for which is recommendations for cabins.

I'm not looking for advice as to the area, we are pretty set on staying around Eureka Springs.

We are looking at about a week's stay next summer and would like to stay in a cabin.
We're not on a budget, but I'm not looking at staying in anything extremely fancy or expensive.

I'm not set at staying real close to Eureka Springs but we would like to be within a few miles of town center.

Thanks in advanced.

My experience with websites is that sometimes what looks great online turns out to not be so much in reality.

Thanks again though, the link makes for good reading.

A lot of the cabins on the hiway and close to town are anniversary and honeymoon types. There are some tho. Moving out a bit will drop your price$$

You look at trip advisor ?

Not a cabin, but we stayed at the Idelweiss Inn. It is comfortable, reasonably priced, close to everything in town, and very motorcycle friendly.

A lot of the cabins in the area are dirt road accessible with steep driveways so make sure you ask paved or not!!

My wife and I always stay at the Best Western as you can walk to downtown or take the Trolley and back. Parking downtown you have to pay in most of the area. The hotel has a pool, hot tub, free buffet style breakfast too..

I always get the Military/Government rate so it's cheaper..

Thanks everyone for the advice, but as the thread title reads "cabin".
I've found many reviews for hotels and quite a few generic ads for cabins, but there's just only a few personal reviews of cabins.

I'm looking at hearing from those members who have stayed in cabins.

We go to Eureka Springs often (2-3 times a year) and have stayed at a number of different places. There are several Bed & Breakfast inns and cottages that are in town off the highway that we seem to repeat visit, and I really like staying at the Crescent Hotel.

We've only stayed in a local cabin once and we really liked it, the Treehouse Cottages. I believe they have four cabins in town and four at the Hidden Forest not far out of town. Of the eight cabins we stayed at the Hidden Oak Cottage in town and I recommend it. If I recall correctly (I could be mistaken) we did not consider any of the cabins at Hidden Forest because there was a short gravel road involved in getting there, but there was no such issue with the in town cabins.

Certainly a very nice place to say, however $360-430 a night is way too much for what we need.
It appears the average stay for the average cabin runs around $150 per night which is within my my price range.

thanks,
