Default accomodation in REd Lodge

For those of you that have been there what do you recommend for accommodation in Red Lodge? Nothing fancy, just a clean room. Is there any other accommodation nearby?

I stayed in Billings, MT because I rode from Sturgis that day. Billings has lots of inexpensive hotels, not the prettiest town but it's only about an hour's ride from Red Lodge. From Billings it was Beartooth, Chief Joseph and Cody, an easy day.

I don't recall the name of the motel, but it was right next to a rushing river that kept me up about half the night!

We have stayed at the Super 8 and it is good. Last time we were in the area there were no rooms available in Red Lodge so we took a chance and stayed at the Bridger Motel in Bridger, Mt. This was a really nice little place with clean, comfortable rooms. There's not much else in the town, but the little 50's diner right across the street had good food and was cool.

I had a good night's stay at the Red Lodge Inn. Seems a local couple was going to get married the next day and the dining room was set up for a wedding. The following morning we met a very hung over groom with his friends. They had a big bachelor party the night before. We wished him well.

Beartooth Hideaway used to be Super 8 but is not bad, Red Lodge Inn is another good one.
