Glacier National Park Current Road Status

Currently 32.0 miles of the Going-to-the-Sun Road are open for travel.
Visitors can drive 31.0 miles from the West Entrance to Logan Pass, and 1.0 miles from the St. Mary Entrance to Foot of St. Mary Lake.
The section of the road between Logan Pass and Foot of St. Mary Lake is closed due to construction.
On the East side there is no Hiker/Biker access past the St Mary campground due to paving operations until further notice.

Inside North Fork Road
The Inside North Fork Road is currently closed at Logging Creek RS and Fish Creek due to the weather. Road open on the southern end to Camas Creek, approximately 6 miles past Fish Creek Campground
Camas Road

Chief Mountain Road
The Chief Mountain Road is open.
Cut Bank Road
The Cut Bank Road is currently closed at Ranger Station due to the weather.
Many Glacier Road

Going to the Sun Road is a great ride. Myself and a few buddies did it two years ago. It was on the bucket list of one of my buddies, so he was able to check that one off. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.
Just got back from there. Only open to Logan pass. Told it would be awhile before the east side is paved. Right now no pavement.
As of 6/20, Going to the Sun Road is open all the way across. Both east and west sides are paved and have been for decades. Not to say there aren't road construction projects here and there. Click here
