3 bikes, maybe 4 are staying in Somerset on Saturday, and going to the Flight 93 Memorial on Sunday, and on up to Johnstown. I think we'll try to get the bikes onto the incline at the bottom. Are there places at the top to have lunch? Are bikes with luggage secure/safe enough to leave at the bottom if we ride up without bikes, and then back down? Will our bags still be with the bikes?!!!! That's why I'm thinking about taking bikes up, and riding to the flood museum from the top. What do you suggest? Also, do we want the flood museum right there, or better to go up the flood memorial which is 14 miles away, or both?

Jim, why yes.....Did the JBW 2 years in a row. You can ride your bike on the inclined plane and park to the left at the top and highly recommend Asiagos for lunch. Awesome food and the view of the city too. Eat inside or outside patio. I will forward my contact and routes to get to their and back down to the flood museum. Johnstown was a killer bike week. http://www.asiagostuscanitalian.com/our-menu/

Geezer if you go to the incline, check out the cable system for the incline at the restaurant on top. They have glass windows you can look thru. Basically the same since it was built.
Hey Jim, sent you a Pm about some info on J-town, Pa. Lost my complete itinerary for our trip, but sent you some routes from what I remember. Check in there welcome center and the Flood museum downtown center, very helpful with direction to places of interests. I gave you routes to and from the Inclined Plane.....Awesome if your first timer. Have a great trip, Doug
Jim, just remember the Big *** US Flag coming down the Expressway rt 56, you will pass the entrance after vine st. A divided wall is in place, so go to the Johns St.Stop light , bear right and do a u turn in that small parking lot on your left. At that light, left and immediate right onto the plane ramp. You will see what I'm explaining. Have fun.D
