I hope to get a quick trip down to NC (Asheville) with the wife in May or June. After that I am looking to ride out to Seattle where the wife will fly to and meet me for a couple days to ride down the coast to SF area. She will fly home and I will make my way home via 50 and 70 to see Moab, and of course 550 in Colorado. This will be first 2 weeks of August.
Reservations and plans made to go back to Sturgis. Going to fly my wife into Rapid City and ride the Black Hills. Then head to Cody and Yellowstone. She will either fly back from Jackson or Billings. I am thinking Billings and then do Highway 12 at Lolo. I had plans to ride 12 a couple of years ago, but it was raining and I passed and headed on.
I have reservations at Cody and then at Canyon in the park. I think I may cancel the Canyon reservations and stay every night in Cody.

Stated in Cody last year. To much back tracking. This year we are staying In Red Lodge Jackson and Cody. that way we don't back track each night.

I was kind of wondering about that. Someone posted about it being a nice ride from Cody. I have not ridden the from Cody to YS. My last time out there I stayed at Cody and then entered the park from the NE and camped at Canyon. It would be nice to have a little night life at Cody in the evening.
West Yellowstone might be better than Cody as a place to stay...Cody is a long ride from the park, and even when you get to the entry point, you're still a fair distance from the most interesting sights.
Quebec in July. We're going up to Quebec City and then continuing on to Montreal before coming back home. I really wanted to do the Cabot Trail and NS, but with the ferry service in question, that may be a bit too far for a long weekend.
I'm also thinking about West Virginia after seeing those threads here recently.
