Another nice day! 55 and sunny! I rode up into Wisconsin, where I found snow on the ground. It was nice to get in 250 miles, it's been a while. The weather forecast has changed every day. It's either going to snow 3 inches, in a few days, or be sunny and 50 degrees.....ah, to be a weatherman....lol.

You guys are making me feel like a slacker!! But I've been tearing into my SV1000S, way behind on maintenance & its taking up my free time. New hoses, thermostat, coolant, valve clearance check, TPS adjustment, new front brake reservoir, magnets had come loose in the rotor as well... Loose magnets Adding 3 new magnets, getting down to the hidden thermostat & tiny hoses Removing cams to add smaller shims, they all have gotten tight
About 56 miles then Castrol Actevo oil change. Shes running great!! Shims definitely needed adjustment & so far charging seems better since magnets are back in the right place. Usery Pass
60 degrees and sunny today, but the roads were too nasty to get the bike out. The thought did cross my mine though. We went from a deep freeze last week to spring for the next week. Maybe a New Years ride will be in the works!
