Did a touch over 500 miles yesterday from Panama City Fl to Marion NC. The fog was super thick yesterday morning until I got about 150 miles from the coast.

I've been in Indiana for a few days and the wife sent me this picture:
Spring my ***.
Some areas around home got as much as 8 inches of snow, so no riding for awhile. Meanwhile in Indiana i saw 70 degrees, the day before it snoeed at home.
Yesterday I uncovered the Night Rod, for the first time in 2023.
Starting the season out at just under 30,000 miles. It popped right over, but i was curious as to how it'd run. Last year in did a stuttering / hesitation thing after being rode forva bit. It was like it wasn't getting fuel, but it only happened twice. Just before i took this pic, the stuttering returned. I was 78 miles into my ride and down to half a tank of gas. I filled up, a couple miles later, and it ran just fine for the 20 miles back home. Since it was running fine i figured I'd keep riding to see if getting to half a tank was the issue. Nope, about 15 miles south of home it started stuttering again....worse even. I was at 3/4 of a tank. I didnt get in a huge ride, but it was fun and interesting..lol. I'm going to have to arrange a service for the Night Rod. It was my Dad's bike, so it will be repaired. On the "bright side" it's supposed to snow on Monday....😐
I remember getting the shovelhead out in the Spring, it would always sputter and cut out for a while but then straighten out after a couple of blocks. The obvious things are always the fuel going stale or the air cleaner needing a good cleaning.
