Hey Jeffro, I just stumbled on a site called Twisted Road looking for motorcycle rentals back in PA. Someone near my hometown has a 2003 V-Rod for rent for $95/day. Ever heard of this site? Apparently Eagle Rider is closed in Washington, PA & last time I rented at Z&M Harley but they don't do it anymore. Would be great to have a V-Rod for a few days!!

Nope, heard of it. I guarantee a fun day on Night Rod, other models may vary...lol.
Stopped at Evansville HD, for the first time, to meet Adam Sandoval.
Adam signed a couple of bikes.
Tucked away for the night.
Pretty nice day, weather was awesome. There's a chance of rain and scatterd storms today.....bummer. All we know is we're headed east out of Evansville Indiana and will probably end up in Kentucky.
We made it home from our trip safe and sound, Saturday afternoon. Just over 2,300 miles were rode. We did the Tail of the Dragon....overrated, the Cherahala Skyway....loved it, we did other roads in that area as well, including part of the Blue Ridge Parkway, up to 215 south, where we exited. 215 was a fun as well. I hit some more backroads on my way to Simpsonville SC, where we were meeting one of the wife's old girlfriends and her husband for dinner. Yep, we rode 1300 miles to eat dinner with friends. One of the best days of riding I've ever had was on 421 from Bristol Tennessee to Lexington Kentucky.
All in all it was an awesome trip, with only a few hours of rain, and otherwise great weather.
Nice! So touched base with the guy w the V-Rod, gonna rent it in a few weeks if my boneheaded friends can gives me some hard dates. Probably Friday-Monday over the 22nd weekend. Looking forward to it!! My buddy in PA is turning 50.
