Grabbed a couple of more hours on the Night Rod.
Beautiful day.
Stopped for dinner, solo, as the wife was working late.
Fall is here.
Mid 60's with little to no wind today.
My color check spot......its definitely a changin.
I need to try weekly updates, until the colors are full on fall.
I went faster than that.....

Just outside Starved Rock State Park.
Not much traffic today.
If you don't look back at it, its not the right one.
Made it back up north for another color check.
Things are getting colorful.
The Rock River was looking good today as well.

Looked like a nice day… We’ve got a high pressure system sitting over us… With no end in sight for October… Maybe, just maybe I get one more kick at the cat for one more run to the mountains… No heated grips… But I found my heated gloves…

Nicer today than yesterday, so it was another ride day.
Visited Wisconsin.
Visited Iowa too.
Saw this in Sabula, Iowa.
Back in Illinois.
Headed for home.
Just over five and a half hours. Temps made it into the low 70's.
Once home, it was dinner time. The wife was in Nashville the last 4 days, so I was a retired bachelor for a long weekend...lol. She got home about an hour after I did.

60 degrees and the temp was climbing at 11am.
It was beautiful along the Rock River this afternoon. Lots of bikes, a Corvette club and a Porsche club.
I have a birthday party to go to, so this is all I get. Hopefully there will be another day like today, before it snows. It hit 78 by the time I got home.
The Night Rod could see 30,000 miles this year, if the weather would stay like today.
