Today I did an oil change in the Limited, adjusted the tire and shock pressures, wiped the bike down and went for the first ride of the season. The Limited will be hitting 100,000 miles this year. Hopefully it takes me a bit further away from home than it did last year. I let the pandemic keep me from traveling last year, not because I was afraid of Covid, but because I was afraid I wouldn't be able to find anywhere to stay or eat...lol.
Anyway, here's a few pics from today's ride:
It was 37 degrees when I left home. It was 43 in Ottawa. It never got below 37, so that's good. My heated grips and heated jacket made this ride possible...lol.
Things are supposed to get warmer as the week progresses. I am off every Friday now, so I'll have plenty of time to ride, so long as the weather cooperates.
I am waiting for the snow to disappear from the road that goes down to my storage As soon as its gone, Ill be riding Ill go down tomorrow morning and have a look at it Heres hoping
I rented heated storage this year In case youre curious the Panhead is on the right LOL

Out of storage... first ride... if the weather holds, tomorrow I will go for a loop... parked at Robins new shop... he was the head mechanic at the Harley shop before the MOCO shut it down

Got me in a good ride today. I headed south, where it was warmer. It went from 37* at home, to 50* in Peoria. There was plenty of sunshine and no wind today, so that was a huge plus. I finally emptied the tank of the winter fuel. The bike is filthy now, but it'll get washed soon enough.
I got in a short ride today. Just a quick run along the Rock River. It may have been just enough therapy to convince me to go into work tomorrow....lol.
