I'm jealous. Friday has potential. Fingers crossed.
Yes record highs this week?! Normally not in the 90s, should be 70s-80s for a few weeks. Definitely getting a ride in tomorrow, my birthday & I'm laid off?!!! Did have a good Webex 2nd interview today though. So hopefully not out of work much longer.

I did manage to get out for ride yesterday. Temps were in the mid 50's. I rode over to the Mississippi River.....Le Claire Iowa, to be exact. The ride was two fold. Wind therapy, and photography. I only took two phone pics:
I spent at least an hour, hour and a half, of my limited daylight taking photos, or looking for something to take photos of. I want to get some practice with the new Canon 5D Mark IV, before bald eagle season starts. Playing around with exposure modes, focus modes and all other modes needs to be done before I go out and try to get that special bald eagle shot.
The wind therapy was much needed. Getting dark by 4:30pm kind of sucks, but such is winter.
I got in another 200 miles today. I rode along both sides of the Rock River, from Rockford to Dixon and back to Rockford, before wandering other roads, less traveled. The temperature hit 47. The sun was out some most of the ride. It looks like next Saturday is going to present me with another chance of a ride, so that's a plus.
