I'm finding Rever to be an excellent app for planning rides - and tracking rides I've been on. The iPhone app is very intuitive and the website makes planning long rides through the backroads a breeze.
If you're on Rever, please feel free to add me: Michael Noirot
Reading the REVER site online, I see it's $6USD/month to utilize the Butler maps; proving there's no such thing as a "free" app really...but I have the Butler map set and they are excellent for planning rides in the areas they cover. When unfolded, they are quite a bit lager than the screen on my iPhone, too. Easier to share with fellow riders that way.
I'm not interested in another social media platform...I have my "group" already
Anyone care to comment on how well the GPS function works? Perhaps in a new iPhone 6?

I use Google Maps on my iPhone 7. It has never been anything but accurate. I do understand that Rever has to charge for the Butler Map overlays since they are not affiliated with Butler. I like the way the map overlays work and they have allowed me to plan a couple trips for later this year.
