Last year, I discovered how much I like it down there. Ridden WV a few times now. Some great weather this week, so a couple of us went for an overnighter. Thanks to everybody who gave me a few roads, and things to see.
We went to Trans Alleghany Lunatic Asylum, and stayed in Buckhannon. Then 33 to Seneca Rocks. Loved that section of 33 between Elkins & the rocks. At the visitor's center, somebody told us about Spruce ****, so we rode up there. Then, 28 up to 42 (42 was a great ride), up to 50, down the twisties on 50, and then 220 north almost all the way home. Thanks again for the pointers. We'll make time for Blackwater Falls next time. I'm going down there again to do the Cass train ride.
Nice riding Jim....Two years ago our Legion group rode to Webster Springs....Stayed with friends there as base camp and rode around New River Gorge bridge, Cass train station, A huge ski resort and everything in between...Your right, great riding in by God West Virginia....Mountainfest in Morgantown is awesome too.
